Of course, we all want to be able to get everything we need from food sources, however, the truth is our food supply is not great these days. Even organic food is lacking in nutritional value as compared to 75 years ago, pesticides, overfarming, picking before optimal ripeness, etc. all contribute to less vitamins and minerals in our fruits and veggies today. If you grow your own food, amazing! But not everyone can do that, not too mention, healthy eating is expensive and most don’t do it at all.
